The nexus livelink isn't a card reader - it's an intelligent authentication device replacing traditional readers, controllers, and server infrastructure with a single unit.

Using patented Intelligent Presence Sensing and cryptographic validation, LiveLink authenticates smartphones at the door without requiring users to open an app, tap a button, or present a card. Each livelink is an autonomous node in the Nexus Swarm Intelligence network - a self-organising mesh routing encrypted data between devices, phones, and the Nexus Cloud with no single point of failure.
The result: an access control system that strengthens with every added device, installs faster, and operates reliably even fully offline.
door hardware interface
The nexus door interface is livelink's companion module, managing inputs, outputs, and door hardware for a single door. Connected to livelink, it receives cryptographically validated access decisions and translates them into lock control, input monitoring, and alarm signalling.

Unlike traditional door modules requiring a central controller, LAN cabling, and separate reader hardware, the Nexus Door Interface works exclusively with LiveLink. Together they form a complete, autonomous single-door access point - no controller, server, or cards.
One or two Door Interface PCBs can be housed within the Nexus Enclosure and UPS Kit, which provides UPS power and LiFePO4 battery backup.
uninterrupted power supply
The nexus UPS is a compact, intelligent uninterruptible power supply for the Nexus access control ecosystem. Housed in the nexus enclosure, it supplies regulated 13.8V DC to up to two Nexus device modules (door interfaces, I/O expanders, or integration gateways), with seamless battery backup via an integrated LiFePO4 charger and power-path manager.

Unlike traditional security power supplies, which require a mains AC transformer and offer limited monitoring, the Nexus UPS accepts wide-range DC input (10–48V), delivers 95% conversion efficiency (3A output), and provides real-time monitoring of all power parameters.
