The system still works. Access decisions are made locally between the phone and the Livelink using the user's current Permissions, so no live cloud connection is required at the door. The Nexus UPS accepts a 10-48V DC source rated at 45W or higher and provides a regulated 13.8V DC output at up to 3A. The Nexus Enclosure, UPS and Battery Kit (NX-ENK801) includes the Smart UPS and LiFePO4 battery and can support up to two Nexus device modules within the system power budget. An external lock power supply can be used where additional lock power is required.

Nexus uses a per-device monthly subscription with no minimum contract or base fee. Eligible Installation Companies receive recurring commission on collected subscription revenue from active devices, while remote-first diagnostics help reduce ongoing support overhead.

No defined mesh-node limit. Livelinks can continue to join the mesh provided each is within range of another node. The Nexus platform is designed to scale from a single Livelink to 100,000+ Livelinks across unlimited zones and sites.

The Livelink Reader is IP65 rated for indoor/outdoor use with an IK07 impact rating, and operates from -25°C to +65°C at 10-90% relative humidity (non-condensing). The Nexus Enclosure and Door Interface are designed for indoor installation only.

Each Livelink has optical mounting-surface tamper detection. If the device is disturbed or removed, Nexus generates a tamper event for the Activity Log and associated monitoring workflows.
